About

F Yeah Lolita is my Lolita blog, just a place for me to rant and rave about all things frilly. I've been a fan of Lolita since the early 2000's and have been dressing in Lolita, for reals, since about 2005. I am a Lolita from the US, so I am blogging from a Western Lolita's point-of-view. I'm a fan of many of the different styles of Lolita, but nothing gets my little black heart beating like Gothic Lolita.

Find me at:
Honeyed- My Tumblr account, if you want to see what inspires me.
My Twitter- feel free to follow me! I'm always looking for new people to tweet at.
My Polyvore- Virtual coordinates! I'm so addicted to Polyvore.
My Poupee- My virtual closet! Pictures of my Lolita wardrobe (very out of date!).
My DeviantArt- Pictures of things I've made, both crafts, art, and photography.

 About Miss Caro-chan
Well, obviously Miss Caro-chan isn't my real name, "Caro-chan" is a goofy weeaboization of my name that I ended up with oh-so-ironically, and "Miss" is just so much more Lolita than "Madame". I've saving "Madame Caro-chan" for my Lolita phone psychic line, only 9.99 a minute, for entertainment purposes only, also completely imaginary. My real name is Carolyn, but either name will get my attention.

Do I have interests outside of the frills and chills of Lolita? Of course I do! Like every good Lolita I embroider, drink tea, practice my violin, brush up on my Emily Post, and listen to classical music. Er, or not. Actually besides the tea I don't really do any of those. I do indeed do my share of Loilta crafts which range from jewelery making, deco-ing stuff, polymer clay, book binding, and even millinery. I actually have an Etsy shop/my very own burando called Ophanim, check it out!

I post the occasional meme on my blog, so if you want to know a bit more about me, keep a look out for those. I am also pretty awful at spelling. Spell check tends to cover this up for me quite nicely, but sometimes it misses stuff.

About F Yeah Lolita
Yes, my blogs name is Fuck Yeah Lolita. But I'd rather not have the word “fuck” right there in the title and URL, just in case. The name made me giggle, plus, I think it pretty much sums up my feelings for Lolita. It's that butterflies-in-my-stomach feeling when I first see a Lolita dress I love and the excitement of finally getting my grubby little mitts on it followed by the barely contained giddiness of trying it on for the first time, doing a little twirl in front of the mirror, petticoats a-ruffling. I can hardly resist giggling like a wild school girl and squealing “Fuck yeah, Lolita!” over something as silly as dresses.

I'm not too particular about how you spell my blog's name. F Yeah Lolita seems to be what most people call it, I've even got a few search term hits for "Eff Yeah Lolita" so that's cool too XD

I tend to capitalize "Lolita" because I think it deserves to be capitalized.
